Our Story
ELJAM is a combination of our middle names — Elizabeth and James. It started as a silly name on a whiteboard and turned into a real company doing real things.
We're a two-person team based in Cardiff, Newcastle, Australia. No fancy office. No board of directors breathing down our necks. Just an obsessed tech nerd and his amazing nutrition coach partner, figuring it out together — new parents and now business partners.

Previous corporate slave who decided to go all in on building products and risk everything — right before becoming a first-time dad. Left the cubicle to set an example for his kid on what you should and shouldn't stand for.
Now an indie app developer and tech nerd, back to his early roots of web design and development. Building the apps, writing the code, and figuring out the app world one feature at a time.
The Nutrition Coach

A nutrition coach who has guided thousands of clients over 10 years. Kate brings all the nutrition expertise and social media know-how to both the household and the business.
She's the reason Healthly actually knows what it's talking about. The coaching methods, the content, the community — that's all her. She keeps things grounded, human, and real.
Why This Matters
When you use one of our apps, you're dealing directly with us. Not a support ticket queue at a faceless company. Not an algorithm optimised for engagement metrics. Just two people who genuinely care about building tools that help people live better.
We built Healthly because Kate saw the same problems in her coaching practice for a decade — people struggling with nutrition tracking, giving up because it was too hard, and losing motivation without personalised guidance. So we built the app she always wished she could hand to her clients.
